Greenish Club
I established GREENISH, the first nature conservation club at my school, aiming to provide a platform for students passionate about environmental issues to connect, communicate, and take action. As the first club to build a formal partnership with WWF, we created unique opportunities for students to engage in meaningful environmental initiatives.
Our notable activities included hosting Dr. Han Jiabo from WWF as part of our "Masters on Campus" event series, where he discussed animal conservation with a focus on spotted seals. We also collaborated with the Bird Observing Club to host two "Masters on Campus" events, further promoting environmental education within our community. To support these events, we designed themed gifts such as hats and fridge magnets to build excitement and participation.
To raise awareness and funds for marine conservation, we launched the "Save Our Oceans" campaign, which included designing a logo and tote bags, organizing fundraisers, and promoting conservation messages. Our efforts have been recognized with the highest rating—a four-star status—reflecting the impact of our initiatives.
Through GREENISH, I strive to foster a deeper appreciation for nature and encourage proactive efforts to protect our planet.
